Order and Return Policy
No orders will be processed until funds have been received.
We endeavour to process orders within 24 hours of receiving your order and payment.
Orders are shipped each day at 2pm Australian Eastern Standard/Daylight Savings Time. Orders received after 1:00pm will be shipped the following day. PLEASE NOTE that the 1pm cut off for same day dispatch is not guaranteed during or straight after sale periods due to usual backlog of orders.
Orders received on the weekend or NSW Public Holidays will be processed and shipped on the next business weekday.
All parcels shipped by www.thesteamery.com.au include a tracking number this will be emailed when your order is shipped.
If you require signature on delivery or insurance for lost/stolen/damaged parcels, these options are available when confirming your purchase.
If no one is available at your nominated shipping address and ‘Signature on Delivery’ option has not been selected then Australian Post has the authority to leave your parcel in a secure location of their choosing.
Lost, damaged or Stolen Packages:
If for any reason you do not receive a package that is marked as delivered, it is your responsibility to resolve this issue with the post office. We will do our best to help you resolve the problem by providing you with tracking number details and dates of shipment, Please understand though that this is completely beyond our control and does require you contact the post office for assistance.
In the case that an item is faulty, wrongly described or different from the sample shown then we will meet our legal obligations under current law, which may include refunding the purchase price, delivery charges; or providing a replacement product, provided the item is returned unused and in the same condition as it was sent in its original packaging within 14 days of purchase with a valid proof of purchase.
